Live Strong and Fear Less – Transforming Lambs Into Lions

About Fear Not Foundation
Fear Not Foundation is a Wisconsin-based nonprofit organization dedicated to violence prevention through comprehensive education, awareness, and community training. Co-founded by William Popp and Estela R. Streacker, our mission is to empower individuals and communities to live strong and fear less by providing practical, actionable skills in threat recognition, de-escalation, boundary setting and self defense skills. We believe that knowledge and preparation are the foundations of violence prevention.
We serve diverse populations including youth, educators, and underserved communities, recognizing that violence prevention requires targeted, culturally-sensitive approaches. Our programs transform fear into confidence by equipping participants with the tools and knowledge they need to to stay safe in a dangerous world.
Our Programs and Services

Basic Self Defense Training for Families
Our Basic 8 hour Self Defense training incorporates the nationally recognized and police endorsed RAD (Rape and Aggression Defense) fundamentals. This course teaches families how to recognize potential threats and employ effective de-escalation techniques to prevent violence before it occurs. Our evidence-based approach helps parents and their children develop situational awareness and communication skills essential for personal and community safety.

Colleges and Corporate Violence Prevention Training
Colleges and corporations choose this Basic Self-Defense course for more than personal safety training. Participants gain a clear understanding of their rights, learn to recognize and avoid potentially dangerous situations, and develop the confidence and skills to take decisive protective action when necessary. At the same time, the course fosters stronger teams by cultivating trust, communication, compassionate leadership, and a culture of shared responsibility, creating safer and more resilient campuses and workplaces.

Safe Child-Safe School-Safe Community Initiative
Age-appropriate and role-specific violence prevention programs designed for children, youth, educators, and underserved populations in schools and communities. Our tailored curricula address the unique needs and challenges of each group, building a foundation of safety awareness and resilience from an early age as well as professional development for educators. We believe that safe communities begins with practical application of situational awareness, communication skills and confidence at the grass roots level.
